A tribute to British comedian Mel Smith, who died in July 2013, aged 60, featuring home video footage, rare archive material and many classic sketches. Far more than a comic actor, Smith also wrote and edited a host of celebrated TV comedies in the 1980s and 90s. He was a theatre and film director, and as a TV producer he was responsible for several innovative comedy series. Friends and colleagues, including Griff Rhys Jones, John Lloyd and Richard Curtis, talk about Smith's talents, both in front of- and behind the camera. The programme also traces his time at Oxford and, before that, Latymer Upper School, where Smith's talents were first spotted.

An acclaimed British television drama about the life of Prince John – youngest child of Britain's King George V and Queen Mary – who died at the age of 13 in 1919. John suffered from epileptic seizures and an autism-like developmental disorder, and the Royal Family tried to shelter him from public view as much as possible.

The documentary will show rare and previously unseen footage of Alan broadcasting on Radio Norwich, commentating on sport and reading extracts from his book. He also talks candidly about the state of television today, his hatred of London and his three rules for life.

8년 3개월 동안 백수 생활에 전전해온 알리는 별다르게 하는 일 없이 하루하루를 연명하는 사고뭉치다. 어리버리한 `웨스트 스테인스파`와 어울리며 지내는 그의 유일한 `일`은 `존 나이키 레저 센터`에서 꼬마 아이들을 가르치는 일. 가르친다고 해봤자, 기껏 마약에 대한 자세한 정보나, 해서는 안되는 욕설 등 유해한 정보만을 전달하는 것이 고작이지만, 알리에겐 그 일이 삶의 전부다. 그러던 어느날 자금 문제로 레저 센터가 문을 닫게 되었다는 소식이 전해진다. 절대로 문을 닫게할 수는 없다고 생각한 알리는 혼자 광장에서 1인 시위를 벌인다. 하지만 단신 투쟁도 수포로 돌아가고, 동네에서 원수처럼 지내는 청년들에 의해 광장 한 복판에서 놀림거리가 되고 만다. 그렇게 시위가 엉망이 되어가던 중 근처에서 이 광경을 지켜보던 스테인스의 하원의원은 알리를 정치에 이용할 목적을 세운다. 전혀 어울리지 않게 하원의원 선거에 나선 알리. 하지만 사고뭉치답게 그의 선거유세 역시 상상을 초월한다. 여성단체들을 대상으로 레즈비언이라고 모욕을 하는가 하면 토크쇼에 나와서도 옆 후보의 원고를 컨닝하는 등 말도 안 되는 행동만 계속한다. 그러나 놀랍게도 `소가 뒷걸음질치다 쥐 잡는` 격으로 얼떨결에 꺼낸 상대 후보에 대한 모욕이 들어맞아 알리는 하원의원에 당선된다. 자유분방한 의상, 거침없는 천박한 말투의 알리는 의원이 된 후에도 계속 사고를 친다. 하지만 운이 좋아 그의 인기는 계속 승승장구하고, 알리는 비난과 찬사를 동시에 받는 괴상한 정치인으로 알려지기 시작한다.

Stephen Milner is a solicitor, but he fits uneasily into the world of Lewis Strange and Partners, who are an upmarket firm of solicitors.The film follows Milner's fraught relationship with a lucrative client, Ron Jesson. When one of his offices goes up in flames, the press are convinced that Ron arranged the fire for insurance purposes.Milner also has to cope with an estranged wife, batty mother and debt ridden younger brother.

Bernard Bottle, a mild mannered art buyer, is fired by his greedy boss, abandoned by his girlfriend and discovers a genie in an old bottle. The genie immediately embraces the modern world and helps Bernard on the side.
