어린 시절부터 절친인 모범생 마이클과 뚱보 범프, 어리숙한 스코티는 졸업반 2학기 파티를 야심 차게 기획하지만 범프의 과도한 ‘알몸 홍보’ 여파로 파리 날리는 파티가 되고 만다. 우연히 TV에서 마디그라 축제 보도를 접한 범프는 친구들에게 뉴올리언즈로 가서 축제를 즐기자고 제의한다. 때마침 마이클의 여자친구 에리카가 할아버지의 장례식에 참석하기 위해 떠나고, 마이클과 친구들은 뉴올라언즈로 향한다. 모두들 축제를 위해 목걸이를 사지만 스코티는 할머니의 진주 목걸이를 준비한다. 부푼 마음을 안고 도착한 뉴올리언스. 그러나 스코티의 호텔 예약 실수로 오갈 데 없는 처지가 되고, 설상가상으로 장례식에 간 줄 알았던 에리카가 뜨겁게 축제를 즐기고 있는 것을 목격한 마이클은 아연실색한다. 게다가 차까지 도둑맞아 갈 곳 없는 친구들은 거리에서 노숙하는 지경에 이른다. 그러나 축제는 아직 끝나지 않았다. 여행객들 사이에서 술에 빠지고 파티에 취한 이들은 뉴올리언스의 추억을 하나 둘씩 만들기 시작한다. 마이클은 자신처럼 남친에게 배신당하고 온 루시를 만나 마음을 터놓는 친구가 되고, 스코티는 한눈에 반한 스타, 카르멘 엘렉트라와 파티에서 재회한다. 사람에 치이고, 축제에 지친 범프도 웨이트리스 앤의 위로를 받게된다. 과연 이들의 화려한 축제의 끝은 해피엔딩일까?

TURNER STULL(Barlow Jacobs), an uninspired young man, trying to figure out what he wants to do with his life, arrives in hurricane-ravaged New Orleans to work as an insurance claims adjuster. Greeted by his UNCLE STULLY(Robert Longstreet) a seasoned claim adjuster, and an ambitious group of adjusters, he is quickly immersed into the routine: move fast, don't get emotionally involved, and make a lot of money. But Turner, not prepared to deal with people who have lost everything, is totally overwhelmed. Turner's lack of experience and uncertainty only makes things worse. In a moment of crisis, Turner agrees to help NIXON(Eddie Rouse), a local man, find his lost dog. In exchange for Turner helping look for the lost dog, Nixon lends a hand with Turner's insurance claim's. Turner and Nixon begin to navigate their way through the storm-ravaged city, a journey that will change Turner's life.
Production Design
On a hot summer afternoon in the sleepy town of Blackwater Louisiana, a meteor streaks across the sky and crashes through the roof of the local Natural History Museum. The meteor is actually a spaceship containing an alien life form which animates the museum's partially frozen Woolly Mammoth and begins a rampage. Local authorities and Government Investigators join forces with Frank Abernathy, the Museum Curator, and his father Simon, a B-Movie enthusiast, to bring down the giant mammoth in this alien-invasion flick!
