2054년 파리는 모든 행동이 감시되며 녹화되는 미로 같은 도시가 되어버렸다. 파리는 이제 거대 기업 아바론의 암영 아래 있게된 것이다. 한편, 미와 지성을 모두 갖춘 젊은 과학자 일로나가 납치당하는 사건이 일어나고, 아바론은 유능하지만 문제 많기로 유명한 경찰 카라스에게 가능한 빨리 그녀를 구출하도록 의뢰한다. 그러나 일로나를 찾는 것은 카라스만이 아니었다. 일로나는 자신도 모르는 사이에 인류와 연관된 은밀한 실험 계획의 열쇠가 될 중요한 단서를 가지고 있었던 것. 카라스가 찾은 모든 증인들이 죽음을 맞이하는 가운데, 그는 과연 그녀를 구출해낼 수 있을 것인가.
