France, 1920s: An affluent ladies' man finds himself in love with a homely married woman.

Franck Chaievski and Nina Delgado are two undercover detectives of a French special force trying to identify two corrupts members of the Paris Police Force. This TV movie is adapted from the memoirs of the singer Régine, in which she recounts her youth and her beginnings in the music hall.

Malene's husband, Gildas, refuses to work in the farm, so she has to take care of everything. Gritte, the youngest, does not want to marry and is a nurse for the natives.
