A Swedish comedy from 1937. At castle Gyllenskiöld Holm a lawyer reads the deceased Count's will. Son Rouglas inherits the estate in front of Anne-Marie, Countess's daughter and the woman whom the testator had hoped to Rouglas would marry. But there is a supplement in the will to be read out after six months.

Knox owns half of the Circus Saran and acts as a clown there. He hides his circus life from his daughter and is very embarrassed when his daughter finds out his true profession. Hans Moser, who plays Knox, performs poorly, because the character he plays is simply not funny. Leo Slezak, who owns the other half of the circus, as well as Pat and Patachon perform better. The only really good thing about this film is its music, composed by Robert Stolz; especially the song "Ein bisschen Sing-Sang und gute Kameradschaft" , which can be heard throughout the movie.

While enjoying a glorious summer’s day at the beach, Pat and Patachon meet the beautiful Mona, whom they both fall in love with. However, they’re soon given something else to think about when they’re drafted into the armed forces and sent to a cantonment. The two friends struggle to find their place among the other soldiers, and they get into all sorts of escapades. There are many ways to travel! Rich Director Brown's two young daughters prefer a first-class coupe in a high-speed train. While the train whizzes along the rails on its way to the big city, the young ladies in a strange way meet two strange guys, one long and thin, the other small and thick ... Fy and Bi! Fy and Bi are on their way to the capital to look for a place, they have an introductory letter with them, and it turns out that it is for the young ladies' father. The two young ladies promise to put a good word in for them, but director Brown receives Fy and Bi with much distrust, and he throws them out. Through many trials and a breathtaking ride in a motorboat, however, Fy and Bi manage to make a good impression on the director.

Fy and Bi have moved into a very "modern" apartment and they now want to make their careers on the sloping boards. The sidecar is an excellent shooter and his role model is Wilhelm Tell. He therefore gets a brilliant idea: The lighthouse must stand with an apple on its head, and the Beehive will then shoot it down.

Pat and Patachon live in the attic of an old house along with a number of other curious kinds of people. One of the residents is a fortune teller, who tells Patachon that he will inherit a fortune and marry one of the two sweet choir girls who live next door, and whom he happens to be in love with. The two friends don’t think much more of it and instead head off to work, as models for a tailor. They stroll through the streets in sharp suits, in the hopes that the two choir girls will see them and think that they’re wealthy men, who simply live in the run-down house to study the bohemian lifestyle. Spirits are always high at the quayside pub The Red Rabbit. One day, adventurers Fy and Bi come by to look for work. Their luck is in! A police raid sends all the staff to prison. On the spur of the moment, two women from the upper-middle class decide to study the life of the common people by paying them a visit. A brawl ensues, and Fy and Bi chivalrously bring the two women to safety – or so they think! A gang of thieves led by an unusually cunning criminal named Terry has been terrorizing the city for some time. The police are completely powerless, and in his embarrassment, the police director turns to a famous detective and asks him to try to expose this gang and, above all, get hold of Terry. Our two friends, the Lighthouse and the Beehive, have set up shop in a small kiosk. As they roll home in the evening with their "house", they unsuspectingly enter a street where the detective is looking for new clues.

When the princess finally gets the opportunity to return to her native Pelicania, Pat and Patachon are eager to come along to help her assert her position. Although the twins Flora and Dora attend the School of Sculpture, their real calling lies in gymnastics. They decide to open an “Institute of Strength and Beauty”, which does not go down well with Uncle Brown, who finances their numerous business adventures. Hans and Elinor are in love, but have to meet clandestinely to avoid the keen eyes of the headmistress at the home for girls where Elinor lives. When they are discovered, they seek refuge in a Chinese gazebo used by the vagabonds Pat and Patachon as a cheap summer residence. However, the two vagabonds quickly vacate the premises to let the young couple stay there. As a thank you, Hans, who is a sailor, enrols Long and Short as part of the crew on his rich uncle’s boat and invites the entire girls’ institute and its headmistress on a sailing trip. In disguise, Hans hopes to spend some time with Elinor, but once again they fail to deceive the headmistress. Long and Short now come upon the idea of hiring a brickworks, whose owner turns out to be Elinor’s uncle. Tailor Vipperup in Ebberöd has problems with liquidity: customers are bad at paying for his services while his own creditors are all the more intrusive. However, the repulsive trader Klemmensen, the town's richest man and most ruthless usurer, casts more and more lustful glances at Ellen.

This one has three segments. In the first, they are ice sailing and fall into the water, where they float for a while, being tormented by seals and swordfish. Then they are rescued by a tramp steamer, where they are befriended by the cook and beaten up by the first officer. They hit port in Bilbao, where they rescue the captain's pretty niece, who seems to have been sold into the degrading life of a taxi dancer. On the way back, Madsen winds up boxing some big guy for a lot of money, with the usual amount of cheating and confusion

Ahead of a performance in Sweden on 27 April 1923, Pat and Patachon shot a short promotional film titled ‘We’re Coming Back’ with the subtitle in Swedish: ‘A little prelude to the joy of the coming evenings.’ Patachon makes a call from a phone booth in Sweden to one of the phone booths on Kongens Nytorv, in Copenhagen, where Pat happens to be, and the two agree to accept the invitation to spend Easter in Handen, a suburb of Stockholm. Fyrtårnet og Bivognen (aka Pat und Patachon) enter movies - in more ways than one. This was the first one pairing Carl Schenstrøm & Harald Madsen for what became a popular and long-lasting comic duo.

The merchant Blomberg is out in the countryside with his daughters and housekeeper when the idyll is suddenly shattered. The daughters head off to have fun with two young guys from Copenhagen who are on a road trip, and the vagabonds Pat and Patachon seize the chance to interfere for their own gain. The preserved material is the original Swedish version titled 'Landsvägsriddare', translated to 'Tyvepak' in Danish. The film was a huge economic success to the then Swedish owned production company Palladium. It is the first film, in which Pat and Patachon appear as a team, although not in their final constellation: As always, Pat is played by Carl Schenstrøm, whereas Patachon is embodied by Aage Bendixen instead of Harald Madsen. There is another 'Tyvepak' from 1915, which is directed by Lau Lauritzen Sr. as well. This film is a heavily revised version of the 1915-film. (stumfilm.dk)

A fast-paced little farce about the racing enthusiast Hurtigkarl and his sports-mad dream – to see his favourite runner hitched with his daughter Musse. Since Musse would rather be with hairdresser Svipp, Hurtigkarl has to think on his feet: A race between the two rivals must decide the matter – the winner gets to be with Musse until the end of days. Basse immediately eyes an opportunity to make a bit of money: ignoring the protests of the workmen, he has no problem with becoming a blackleg. Young Jörgen Steenfeld is the heir of it over the chimney-indebted estate Steensgaard and unable to clear up its finances. He is being looked after by his old friend, "Mästerkatten", ie the enterprising, charming but somewhat irreplaceable Karl Konstantin Kattrup, who has been relegated from the university. In the main protagonist’s household, his wife, Ilsebil, calls all the shots. Even on his own birthday he cannot get a word in edgewise, and when some friends invite him out for the evening, his wife takes the key to the front door so he cannot get out. The pharmacist Peter Pille and Colonel Sejrsberg's beautiful niece, Inger, are in love. Unfortunately, the Colonel is against the idea of an engagement and generally detests men who court young girls. Peter Pille finds out that the Colonel's negative attitude is due to jealousy and envy, because he himself has never really had luck with the ladies. Maybe a homemade love potion will do the trick? The man-hungry “vampire,” later to be popularized by America’s Theda Bara, made her screen debut in this Danish melodrama directed by August Blom. Clara Wieth starred in the title role of the Vampire Dancer, which is just what she was: a dancer performing her seductions on-stage. Off-stage, the young girl is kindhearted and a bit naïve. The lustful dance, during which Robert Dinesen succumbs to the dancer’s fatal charms, remained the centerpiece of the film, which was a popular success and made Wieth an international star.

On a holiday, the family Gram meets a young, mysterious man who turns out to be a Mormon. In spite of her fiancèe's presence, the daughter Nina is drawn to the stranger. Hypnotized, she soon follows his every step. When she finally awakes from her trance, she finds herself on a ship to Utah, in the clutches of a dangerous man.

On her way to her aunt's house, motherless young Edith is kidnapped by a white slave trader and put in a brothel. Luckily Mr. Faith, Edith's travel acquaintance, senses that something is wrong.
