Dean sees mafia boss Santelli whack an FBI infiltrator and is relocated to a remote cabin in the Sierras for protection. While Santelli's crew tries to locate him, Dean gets company from the beautiful Monica.

After many years in prison, a changed robber comes home to see his sons again, one of them brain-damaged. Due to many misfortunate events and terrible tragic misunderstandings, they go on the run, leaving a bloody trail wherever they go.

Backstreet Dreams is the story of a man, who has a disturbed child. He and his wife take their son to a clinic, where he is diagnosed by a talented psychologist (Stevie), as being autistic. After catching his unfaithful wife with another man, Dean tells Lucy to leave, and is faced with the task of raising Shane on his own. Stevie believes that she can improve Shane's condition, going back to Dean's apartment and later convincing him that he can provide a better world for his son. Angelo, who lives in the same apartment building and is like a father to Dean, urges on the relationship, sensing that Stevie is luring Dean away from backstreet dealings, and giving him courage to face life in a positive way. Together, they build a foundation for a better life outside of the violence and danger of the backstreets where they live.

리로이는 쿵후무공을 익혀 고수가 되었지만, 보다 높은 상승무공을 익히기 위해 딴 스승을 찾아 나선다. 그러다가 길가에서 악한들에게 당하고 있는 여자를 구출한다. 이 와중에서 그는 스승찾는 징표인 메달을 분실한다. 어느날, 리로이는 동생 리치가 이 여자를 좋아하며 그날 그 여자의 방송 스튜디오로 가려하는 걸 우연히 알게 된다. 그는 동생을 따라 그녀를 만나러 간다. 마침 그녀가 또다시 악한들에게 납치되는 순간이었다. 이에 리로이는 악한 일당을 추적하여 그녀를 다시 구해낸다. 여기서 악한 일당이란 연예계 깡패 두목 에디가 이끄는 집단으로 이들은 앤지라는 무명 여가수를 방송에 태우라고 인기 디제이 로라에게 협박한다. 이 순간 들이닥친 리로이는 눈부신 활약으로 로라를 구출한다. 번번히 실패한 에디는 앙심을 먹고 뉴욕 시내의 건달 깡패를 모조리 동원하여 리로이를 제거하려 한다. 특히, 자기가 할렘구역 최고의 강자라고 자부하며 항상 리로이를 꺾으려고 벼르며, 리로이를 괴롭혀 오던 깡패 쇼너프는 에디가 주는 거액도 사절해가며 자진해서 리로이 제거에 나선다. 결전의 그날, 리로이는 단신으로 수많은 적을 상대하여 싸운다. 그러나 뒤늦게 달려온 자신의 체육관 소속 제자들이 합세해 줌으로써 리로이는 수적인 열세를 극복하고 적을 완전 퇴치한다. 특히 막판에 등장한 쇼너프와의 대결에서 리로이는 자신도 모르게, 저절로 상승경지의 무공을 발휘하여 쇼너프를 제압하고, 에디가 쏜 총알을 정말로 이빨로 받아내는 신기를 발휘한다.

뉴잉글랜드주에 캘빈 부샤드라는 사업가가 거대한 해양 공원을 건설한다. 이곳에는 전편의 주인공 브로디 서장의 아들인 마이크 브로디가 엔지니어로 일하고 있다. 어느날 거대한 백상어가 열린 수문 사이로 공원내부로 들어와 직원들을 잡아 먹지만 이 사실을 아는 사람이 없다. 이때 마이크는 애인이자 생물학 박사인 캐서린 모건과 함께 바다를 조사하러 갔다가 새끼 상어를 발견하고 즉시 상어를 생포하지만 곧 죽어버린다. 개장일, 공원에 몰려든 인파 사이로 어미 백상어가 출현한다. 상어와 인간 사이의 싸움이 시작되고 결국 상어를 죽인다.
