In the summer of 2022, Laleh Pourkarim turned 40 years old and she did so in front of an enthusiastic audience at Ullevi, Gothenburg. Joined by an orchestra and dancers, the evening is a celebration of Laleh's career as a musician.

Jag är inte beredd att dö än (I'm Not Yet Ready to Die) is a documentary that follows Laleh Pourkarim—one of Sweden's most celebrated musicians—over two years time. Laleh takes pains to maintain her privacy in spite of her popularity. This film is a rare opportunity for fans to glimpse her daily life, from her hometown of Hammarkullen to settings abroad.

Zanyar Adami looks down at Bagdad from an airplane heading to Sweden. His mother is still down there at the airport. His father isn’t even there to wave goodbye. At the time, Zanyar is only five years old. 23 years later Zanyar, soon to be a father, sits in his kitchen in a suburb of Stockholm. His father, Taher, sits in front of him. Any day now, Zanyar will become a father himself and he knows that he can’t wait anymore. He has to confront his father with the question he has been afraid to ask all his life: How could Taher leave him in the midst of a war and then send him to Sweden all by himself?

어린 시절부터 수도원에서 엄격하게 교육 받으면서 자라온 '아른'. 그는 마침내 템플 기사단의 단원이 되어 고향의 가족들에게로 돌아가게 된다. 아른은 고향에서 벌어진 영토 분쟁을 해결하기 위해 결투에 참가해 승리한다. 그리고 아름다운 '세실리아'를 만나 한눈에 사랑에 빠진다. 하지만 행복도 잠시, 두 사람을 둘러싼 거짓된 증언 때문에 아른과 세실리아는 교회에서 파문 당하고 강제로 헤어지게 된다. 결국 세실리아는 수도원에서 괴로운 감금 생활을 하게 되고, 십자군으로 차출된 아른은 전쟁터를 떠돌게 되는데...

친한 친구 사이인 만즈와 로로는 공원에서 오리 연못을 치우고, 개똥을 청소하는 등의 지루한 일을 하지만, 언제나 자신들은 멋지다는 생각을 버리지 않는다. 그러나 그들의 지루한 일상은 뜻하지 않게 깨어지게 된다. 만즈는 더 이상 남자 구실을 할 수 없게 되어 절망에 빠지고, 로로는 가족이 정해준 여자 야즈민과 원치 않는 결혼을 1주일 남겨두었다는 사실에 직면하게 된다. (출처: 부산국제영화제)
