마사(마렌 젠슨)는 짐(더글러스 바)과 결혼해 행복한 농촌생활을 시작하지만 어느날 갑자기 짐이 트랙터에 치어 죽고 짐의 아버지 이사야(어니스트 보그나인)는 마사를 의심한다. 그러나 세상을 등지고 히타이트교 고유의 신앙을 지키려는 그는 아들의 죽음도 대수롭지 않게 여긴다. 이웃집 윌리엄(마이클 베리맨)은 루이자의 딸 페이스(리사 하트먼)를 쫓아다니며 이단자의 딸이라고 놀리다가 의문의 죽음을 당한다. 그리고 짐의 동생 존(제프 이스트)은 아버지가 싫어하는 비키(수잔 버크너)와 도망치다 함께 살해당한다. 살인 사건이 잇따르자 이사야는 마사를 동네에서 추방하려 한다. 루이자(로이스 네틀레톤)는 마사가 페이스의 출생 비밀을 알고 있다고 생각, 그녀를 죽이려 하지만 실패한다. 또한 페이스도 마사를 살해하려다 멜리사의 손에 죽고, 이사야는 악마의 사신 페이스가 죽었다고 생각하는데...

Tikoyo lives by the Bora Bora lagoon in the South Pacific, where he found a man-eating tiger shark when it was an orphaned baby, just a foot long. He named it Manidu, and it grew to be sixteen feet long. Tikoyo believes that his companion houses the soul of a wise old man, and helps him guard the sacred black pearls in the lagoon. In fact, Manidu does protects Tikoyo and his girlfriend Diana, only eating those who are their enemies, or who seek to destroy their environment, or steal the pearls.

Running low on fuel, the Battlestar Galactica receives the help of the supposedly lost Battlestar Pegasus which is taking the offensive with the Cylons.
