'Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship 3: The Takeover' was a bare-knuckle fighting event held by Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship on October 20, 2018 at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi, Mississippi, USA. This event featured the semi-final of a 8-Man Heavyweight Tournament to crown the inaugural BKFC Heavyweight Champion. The event also featured the quarter-final of a 8-Man Lightweight Tournament. A planned Lightweight Tournament Quarter-Final matchup between Reggie Barnett Jr and Josue Rivera was cancelled when Rivera no-showed the event causing Barnett Jr to advance to the semi-finals due to forfeit.

'Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship 2: A New Era' was a bare-knuckle fighting event held by Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship on August 25, 2018 at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi, Mississippi, USA. This event featured the semi-final of a 8-Man Heavyweight Tournament. The inaugural Police Gazette Women's Featherweight champion, Bec Rawlings, was awarded this title by the Bare Knuckle Boxing Hall of Fame 3 days after her win over Alma Garcia at BKFC 1, making her fight with Britain Hart her first title defense.

Bellator 193: Larkin vs. Gonzalez took place on January 26, 2018 at the Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, California. The event aired live in prime time on Paramount Network. A Lightweight bout between Eugene Correa and Joao Paulo Faria was planned for the undercard of this event, but was canceled for undisclosed reasons. Despite a 180 pound catchweight limit installed in the main event, headliner Fernando Gonzalez still missed weight. It was his third consecutive weight cut miss.

The main event will feature Brandon Girtz against Derek Campos in a rubber match. Campos won the pair's initial meeting in June 2013 at Bellator 96 by unanimous decision. Girtz avenged the loss in November 2015 at Bellator 146, where he won by knockout in the first round.

Bellator 127 took place on October 3, 2014 at the Pechanga Resort & Casino in Temecula, California. The event aired live in prime time on Spike TV.

Bellator 106 will be Bellator's first ever Pay-Per View event and is expected to be headlined by a Light Heavyweight bout between perennial contenders Tito Ortiz and Quinton Jackson who will be making their promotional debuts.

The Ultimate Fighter 7 Finale was a mixed martial arts event held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship on June 21, 2008. Featured were the finals from The Ultimate Fighter: Team Rampage vs Team Forrest in the Middleweight division as well as a main event between Kendall Grove and Evan Tanner. This was Evan Tanner's last fight before he died.

Sean Sherk was originally slated to fight but tested positive for steroids. With the lightweight championship vacated, the Penn-Stevenson bout was altered to be for the undisputed championship.

The card was headlined by heavy favourite Georges St. Pierre defending his welterweight title against The Ultimate Fighter 4 welterweight winner Matt Serra.

The main event was a hyped up fight between two men who were not contenders. The joke of fight was only held because their 2nd encounter was thought to have been stopped early by the ref. However, this event did set viewing records and sold out very fast.

The Ultimate Fighter 3 Finale was a mixed martial arts event held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) on June 24, 2006. Featured were the finals from The Ultimate Fighter 3 in both the Middleweight and Light Heavyweight divisions as well as a main event between Kenny Florian and Sam Stout. During the event Randy Couture was inducted in to the UFC Hall of Fame and the return of Jens Pulver was announced.
