In the first film in the series, in May 1908, famed Professor Henry Jones Sr. is invited to give lectures all over the world. He takes along his wife and son, and invites his former tutor Miss Helen Seymour to teach Henry Jr. during the trip. Their first stop is Cairo, Egypt. When Junior, who prefers to be called 'Indy' and Miss Seymour visit the pyramids, they are invited by T.E. Lawrence (another former student of hers) to join an archaeological dig. When the mummy disappears and a priceless headpiece is stolen, young Indy gets his first taste of adventure. On their next stop in Tangiers, the family stays with Professor Jones' former class mate Walter Harris. Indy befriends a young slave named Omar who belongs to Emily Keen. The two of them get into trouble when they Indy insists on visiting the market place to see a salted head displayed on a pole. Caught by slave traders, they are end up at an auction from which only Harris can attempt to rescue them.

She embarks on a search for her birth father, finds him running a jazz club in London, and learns a lot of happy and sad things about her family that she didn't know before. The title of the film is the classic jazz piece, "Misterioso," by Thelonious Monk, which features prominently in it.

돈밖에 모르는 수전노 스크루지는 크리스마스를 기뻐하며 축하하는 사람들이 못마땅하기만 하다. 가난한 사람들에게 비싼 이자를 받는 고리대금업으로 돈을 모으는 것이 인생의 유일한 낙인 그는 크리스마스라고 저녁초대를 하러 찾아온 조카를 매몰차게 보내고 집으로 돌아온다. 혼자 저녁을 먹던 스크루지는 동업자였던 말리의 유령을 만나게 되는데, 말리는 무거운 쇠사슬을 온 몸에 감고 그에게 계속 비열하게 살면 자신과 같은 운명이 될 거라고 경고하고 새벽에 세 명의 유령이 스크루지를 찾아올 거라고 말하고 떠난다. 잠시 후 새벽이 되자 스크루지에게 과거와 현재, 미래의 유령이 나타나고 그는 과거로 가서 순수했던 자신의 모습과 연인을 보고 후회하게 된다. 또 현재의 유령과는 비서인 크래칫과 조카의 집을 방문해 자신의 참모습을 보게 되고, 미래의 유령과 찾아간 미래에선 비참한 자신의 미래를 보고 깊은 반성을 한다. 새벽이 지나고 아침이 되자 스크루지는 무사히 자신의 방에서 깨어나 깊은 참회의 눈물을 흘리며 세상을 위해 사는 새로운 사람이 되겠다고 다짐한다. 기쁨에 찬 스크루지는 자신한테 빚진 사람들의 돈을 탕감해 주고 크래칫을 찾아가 주급을 올려준 후 병든 아들인 팀의 병을 고쳐주겠다고 약속한다.

1968년 크리스토퍼 리 주연 드라큐라 3탄인 '드라큐라의 부활(Dracula Has Risen from the Grave)' 의 속편격인 작품. 세 명의 중년 부르주아 신사들이 지루한 시간을 보내던 중 코틀리라는 자를 만나 위험한 제의에 동참하게 된다. 그 제의란, 자신의 죽은 마스터를 소생시키는데 성공한다면, 엄청난 권력을 주겠다는 것. 코틀리의 말에 이끌려, 그가 하라는대로 부활의식에 필요한 것들을 산 후, 코틀리의 마스터를 소생시키는데 성공하지만, 알고보니 그 마스터란 드라큘라였던 것이다. 이에 놀란 신사들은 코틀리를 죽이는데, 부활한 드라큫라가 코틀리의 몸에 잠입해 다시 중년 신사들을 차례로 죽이기 시작한다.

런던의 지하철 확정 공사장에서 해골이 발견 되는 것으로 시작합니다. 고생물 학자인 매튜 로니 박사가 투입이 되고 발굴이 이루어지게 됩니다. 로니 박사 팀들은 추가로 유골들이 발견이 하고, 이 유골이 5백만년전의 "원인"이라는 것을 알아내게 됩니다. 그동안 발굴 된 그 원인들 보다 오래 된 것으로 밝혀지게 됩니다. 오스트랄로피테쿠스 보다 무려 1백만년이 앞선 원인을 발견 하게 된 것입니다. 발굴은 여기서 그치지 않고 미지의 금속 물체가 땅 속에 묻혀 있다는 것을 발견 하게 됩니다. 발굴 팀은 이 물체가 2차 대전 당시 공습되어 터지지 않고 묻혀 있던 폭탄으로 의심으로 하고, 군에 폭탄 해체 팀을 요청 하게 됩니다. 이 시각 자신의 달 식민지화 계획을 군에 뻬앗긴 버나드 쿼터매스 박사는 크게 실망 하게 있는 데요. 전작들을 보신 분들이 쿼터매스 박사가 영국의 우주 계획 리더였다는 것을 기억 하시리라 봅니다. 쿼터매스 박사의 로켓 계획을 이어 받은 브린 대령은 쿼터매스 박사를 방문 하고 그때 부관으로 부터 폭탄 해체반으로 부터 와달라는 연락을 받게 됩니다. 브린 대령은 쿼터매스 박사를 대동하고 이 물체가 발견 된 장소로 향하게 됩니다.
