Milan is ex-piano teacher. One day, he walks through the park, and he makes a sepcial kind of friendship with one dog. This friendship will decide fate of more then 20 people.

A middle-aged former criminal has little time to live due to cancer, so he gets to see his son after 5 years to spend his last week with him and teach him the principles he considers important in life.

The movie takes us through the saga of the actor, Veljko Radisavljević, who has the impression that the entire universe has conspired against him.

The main plot of the film "The Principality of Serbia" was put in the first seven decades of the nineteenth century when the state was being formed and strengthened together with its historical fate. This film shows the Serbs as people who fought during the two Risings while trying to liberate by themselves hardly and for a long time. It also shows how they hardly got the recognition to their liberty and the international recognition to the right to have their own state.

Story of two sisters that grew up in a small Serbian village in the beginning of the 1930s. The village is torn up by wars and years long blood oath. There are no men left in the village. Our heroines, Ognjenka and Mala Boginja decide to go to the city, kidnap men and return life to their village. Based on a comedy TV series about Serbian "aristocracy" during the Turkish "answer" to the Serbian Uprising during the Serbian-Turkish war in the 19th century. With the help of a fortune teller, Karadjordje (the leader of the Uprising) learns that, according to a legend, somewhere in the hills exists a Stone of Wisdom which makes you, if you hit your head against it three times, more wise. So he employs his nephew Crni Gruja, with assistants Ceda Velja and Bole, to find him this miraculous Stone. Crni Gruja finds the Stone and, convinced that he is really becoming more wiser, decides to make some business.

Though Lazar initially plans to kick out Jasna and Jovana, he changes his mind after seeing the squalid conditions of the shelter they are to move into. It is an allegory of the Balkan wars. When first released in Serbia, it caused some public outrage because of the sharp criticism of Serbia's role in the war.

In the summer of 1991 the war broke out in Croatia. In a holiday house in Fruška Gora hills in Serbia, near the border with Croatia, a group of young people are having a birthday party. They try to have some fun and act like nothing is going on. The party is shattered by the war. They can hear the artillery, but something is also happening between them. Inevitably, some of the boys end up on the frontline and everyone of them is effected by the war that is starting to rage. "The Party" is about individual destinies of the characters trapped in isolated house in hills and surrounded by growing paranoia of the officially not yet declared war.

The basic plot revolves around drug dealer Limeni and two men, Lemi and Kiza, who are trying to transport their dead grandfather for burial, until their car breaks down and they end up struggling to get him home onboard a train. This is when these two plots intersect and all hell breaks loose.

Yugoslavian filmmaker Goran Markovic directs the psychological drama The Cordon. Set in Belgrade over Easter weekend in 1997, the film involves a group of policemen who respond to the city's political turmoil. Due to the overthrow of Serbian leader Slobodan Milosevic, violence and protests have erupted all over the city. Patrolling the streets in a bus driven by Uros (Ratko Tankosic), the unit consists of Crni (Dragan Petrovic), Dule (Nikola Duricko), Kole (Nebojsa Milovanovic), and Seljak (Nenad Jezdic). They are led by commanding officer Dragon (Marko Nikolic), who isn't entirely sure what to do himself. Throughout their weekend-long shift, each man battles with his own personal problems as the political tension escalates. The Cordon won the top prize at the 2003 Montreal World Film Festival.

Though the city appears fairly normal on the outside, the presence of the war is signalled when a reluctant conscript in the army is dragged away.
