'감마'클럽과 연관되어 있는 여학생 클럽의 학생들은 흑인이지만 비교적 흰 피부를 가졌다. 그리고 다프와 친한 여학생 클럽은 검은 피부의 흑인 학생들이다. 이 두 여학생 클럽 또한 서로 라이벌 관계에 있다. 두 클럽의 리더인 레이첼(키미)과 제인(티샤 켐벨)은 만나기만 하면 으르렁대는 앙숙이다. 다프는 모욕을 당하고도 참는 하프-핀트를 보고 속이 터지지만 그를 위해 줄리앙을 찾아가 하프-핀트를 회원으로 받아 들여 줄 것을 부탁한다. 회원이 되는 통과의식을 치른 하프-핀트는 드디어 고대하던 '감마'클럽의 회원이 되어 줄리앙의 여자 친구였던 제인과 잠자리까지 같이 하게 된다. 학교 댄스파티가 있던 날 각각의 두 집단 간의 대립은 극에 달하고 다프는 모든 학생들에게 '깨어나라'라고 각성의 소리를 외친다.
