Austin City Limits (ACL) heads to Nashville for a special broadcast featuring performance highlights from this year’s Americana Honors & Awards. ACL Presents: Americana Music Festival 2014 premieres this Saturday, November 22, on PBS stations across the United States and includes performances from Robert Plant and Ry Cooder, among many others. The show was recorded live at the Americana Music Association's 13th Annual Honors & Awards ceremony at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium in September.

Deadline is the story of the murder of an African American youth in rural Alabama that has gone uninvestigated, unsolved, and unpunished for almost twenty years. That changes when Nashville Times reporter Matt Harper (Steve Talley) meets an idealistic young blueblood bent on discovering the truth. Harper undertakes the investigation despite the opposition of his publisher, violent threats from mysterious forces, a break-up with his fiancée, and his father's cancer diagnosis.

An outlaw band flees a posse and rides into Refuge, a small town where no one carries a gun, drinks, or swears. The town is actually Purgatory, and the peaceful inhabitants are all famous dead outlaws and criminals such as Doc Holiday and Wild Bill Hickok who must redeem themselves before gaining admittance to Heaven... or screw up and go to Hell.

Bright and neurotic girl Bell sets two goals for New Year - to quit smoking and to fall in love. As the first task turns out to be too difficult, she puts all her energy into the second.

베이다는 펜실베니아 메디슨의 장의사 헤리의 딸이다. 장의사 조수로 일하며 아빠와 사랑에 빠졌던 셀리는 새엄마가 되었고, 곧 아이를 낳을 예정이다. 베이다는 누군가의 삶을 조사하라는 작문숙제를 받고 대상을 돌아가신 엄마로 정한다. 엄마가 LA에서 태어나 자랐다는 것을 알고 봄방학을 이용해 그곳의 삼촌을 찾아간다. 낯선 도시 LA의 공항에서 베이다는 필 삼촌의 애인 로즈의 아들 닉을 알게 되는데, 닉은 필의 부탁으로 5일동안 베이다의 안내자가 된다. 베이다의 엄마 탐구는 이렇게 시작되면서 닉과도 친해진다. 한편 베이다는 엄마의 고교동창 힐러리에게서 충격적인 사실을 알게 된다. 엄마는 아빠와 결혼하기 전에 결혼 경험이 있었으며 엄마의 전남편이 자신의 친아버지 일지도 모른다는 것이다. 엄마의 생을 찾아나섰다가 자신의 존재에 대한 의문을 갖게 된 베이다는 용기를 내어 엄마의 전남편을 찾아간다.

Substance-addicted Hollywood actress, Suzanne Vale is on the skids. After a spell at a detox centre her film company insists as a condition of continuing to employ her that she live with her mother, herself once a star and now a champion drinker. Such a set-up is bad news for Suzanne who has struggled for years to get out of her mother's shadow, and who still treats her like a child. Despite these and other problems, Suzanne begins to see the funny side of her situation, and also realises that not only do daughters have mothers—mothers do too.

산불 진화 작업 조종사로 일하는 피트(리처드 드라이퍼스)는 언제나 저공 비행을 하면서 화염과 아슬아슬한 생존게임을 하며 산다. 피트는 언제나 능숙한 조종 솜씨로 일을 훌륭하게 처리하지만 애인 도린다(홀리 헌터)는 언제나 불안하다. 어느 날 진화 작업을 나간 피트는 작업 도중 친구를 구하려다 목숨을 잃는다. 피트는 천국으로 가던 중 천사장(오드리 헵번)의 명령으로 신참 테드의 수호 천사로 비행술을 전수하기 위해 그 주위를 맴돈다. 테드는 도린다에게 사랑을 느끼고 피트의 죽음으로 상심해 있던 도린다도 테드에게 관심을 느끼기 시작한다. 이런 그들의 모습을 지켜보는 피트는 그들의 사이를 방해하며 도린다가 자신을 잊지 않기를 바란다. 그러나 피트는 자신은 이미 죽은 사람이고 테드 역시 좋은 사람으로 도린다를 행복하게 해줄 것이란 걸 알게 되는데...
