Leslie Edward "Les" Claypool (born September 29, 1963) is an American musician and writer, best known as the lead vocalist and bassist in the band Primus. Claypool's playing style on the electric bass mixes tapping, flamenco-like strumming,whammy bar bends (unusual on a bass guitar) and slapping.

The first live DVD from Claypool, Primus' main man; a complete concert from his 2006 Summer tour with band. The tour was in support of Claypool's then current cd release of "Whales and Woe" and features material from the album. In addition to being a virtuoso bass player for Primus, Les Claypool purveys his punk-funk sound in side projects like Sausage, the Frog Brigade, Oysterhead, Les Claypool and the Holy Mackerel, and his own solo career. This concert film captures Claypool in a live performance culled from his 2006 tour for that year's solo album, OF WHALES AND WOE.

Videoplasty is the third home video by Primus, following 1993's Cheesy Home Video and the fan club exclusive Horrible Swill. Videoplasty was released at the end of 1998 to compliment to the band's recent covers EP Rhinoplasty, and is composed mostly of highlights from a live show performed on October 14 that year at The Phoenix Theater in Petaluma, California. This live footage is interspersed with montages of clips filmed during previous tours and at other recent shows, footage shot backstage and in the studio, animations by bassist Les Claypool, and the band's then-current music videos, spanning back two years to the recording of the Brown Album and presented in approximate reverse-chronological order.

Steven Phillips goes to order some nachos, to which the nacho vender replies, "S T E A M Y". Steven walks out with his nachos and is distracted by two people starting up a car, not long before being knocked over by a skateboarder, and spills his nachos. The nachos then magically activate a Primus performance, where they tell the story of Jerry, who never did win no checkered flag, but he never did come in last. It also tells the story of Captain Pierce, a fireman who was forced to retire his job at the age of sixty five. The story concludes with Jerry having one too many cold beers one night and wrapping his car around a telephone pole. A tragic tale.

Primus - Cheesy Home Video
Cheesy Home Video is the first home video from Primus, released in 1992 on VHS in conjunction with the band's first covers EP Miscellaneous Debris. The video includes three music videos interspersed with live footage filmed in the United States and Europe from the Roll the Bones tour, and interviews with the band at home and on Les Claypool's boat, hosted by Bob Cock.
