할아버지(리시 카푸르)가 심장마비로 입원을 하게 되고, 어머니(라트나 파닥)는 런던에 있는 큰 아들 라훌(파와드 칸)에게 그 사실을 알리게 된다. 라훌 역시 미국에 있는 동생(아르준 - 시드하스 말호트라)에게 그 사실을 알리지만, 아르준은 어머니가 자신에게는 이야기하지 않은 사실에 섭섭해 한다. 우여곡절 끝에 할아버지의 병문안을 계기로 모이게 된 가족들. 하지만 살얼음판을 걷는 듯한 가족관계는 저녁 식사자리에서 폭발해 버린다. 집에 있기 힘든 아르준은 친구인 와심이 말한 방갈로 파티에 가게 되고, 그곳에서 티아(알리아 바트)를 만나 즐겁게 시간을 보내게 된다. 다음 날. 자신의 소설 작업을 위해 작업실을 구하던 라훌은 비어있는 방갈로를 구하게 되고, 그곳의 주인인 티아와 만나게 된다. 두 사람의 만남은 저녁 식사로 이어지게 되지만, 티아는 술김에 라훌에게 입을 맞추고 만다. 며칠 후 식료품점을 지나던 아르준은 티아를 만나게 되고, 보디빌딩 대회에 관심이 있어하는 티아와 함께 데이트를 하게 된다. 그러면서 점점 가까워지는 티아와 아르준.

When Lama Norbu, a senior lama from the monastery has a dream that the Buddhist teacher, the Rinpoche has been reborn as a young child, he sends Kaya to Delhi on a mission to bring him back to the monastery.

Kabir Lal is an alcoholic lawyer whose life is looking as if going down the drain. One morning he sees a stunningly attractive woman on a beach and is instantly enamored by her. By chance he sees her again in a restaurant and offers to buy her a drink. In the process he learns that her name is Sonia and she is married. Unable to resist, he asks her whether she would show him her home. It marks the beginning of a passionate affair, during which Kabir is told that Sonia's husband neglects her. But Sonia cannot leave him because she cannot support herself without her husband's money. Sonia suggests murder and Kabir, blind with lust, agrees. They manage to kill Sonia's husband and make it look like an accident, but then Kabir gets to see Sonia's other side: she no longer is the passionate lover as before, but is a cool-headed mean woman now who won't let go of her wealth at any cost.

Everybody Says I'm Fine! is an Indian English language film, released on 12 September 2001 at the Toronto Film Festival. It marks the directorial debut of Indian actor Rahul Bose. For his work on Everybody Says I'm Fine! Bose won the runner-up John Schlesinger Award for best directorial debut at the 2003 Palm Springs International Film Festival.The film revolves around a small group of elite Mumbaikars whose lives converge at a hairdresser's salon. The protagonist Xen owns the salon and has a unique gift of connecting with the minds of his clients and reading their thoughts while at work. Most of his customers maintain a facade of normality in order to gain semblance and hide their tumultuous lives to some extent.
