모탈 컴뱃 레전드: 배틀 오브 더 렐름즈의 후속작으로 나온 작품. 모탈 컴뱃 레전즈 시리즈 시즌 3이다. 전작으로부터 시간이 상당히 흐른 뒤이며, 타카하시 켄시의 일대기를 다루고 있다. 등장인물 로스팅은 디셉션과 유사하지만 시열대는 모탈 컴뱃 11보다 십수년뒤로 보인다.
