마음씨 따뜻한 한 교도관이 어느 날 수감자들의 편지를 사전 감시하는 보직을 맡게 된다. 그리고 곧 어떤 수감자에게 지속적으로 편지를 보내는 한 여성의 글에 매료 당하게 된다.
