어느 날, 캘리포니아 연안의 한 석유 굴착 장치가 붕괴되는 사고가 일어난다. 이 일로 굴착 장치의 소유사인 '트레이마 공업'은 세간의 주목을 받으며 논란의 중심에 서게 되고 책임자인 '로저'는 굴착지 붕괴로 인한 생태계 피해는 없을 거라 주장한다. 한편 '척' 앞에 자신을 해양 수사국의 박사라 소개하는 '캣'이 나타난다. 그녀는 돈을 지불할 테니 척에게 그의 배로 굴착지가 붕괴된 곳으로 가 달라는 부탁을 하고 척은 미심쩍어 하며 사고 지역까지 그녀를 데려간다. 사고 지역에 도착한 캣은 뭔가 이상함을 느끼고 로저를 찾아가지만 원하는 대답은 듣지 못한다. 그리고 단서를 얻기 위해 찾아간 생존자에게서 트레이마 사가 시추를 위해 불법 화학 물질을 쓰고 있었다는 사실을 알게 되고 붕괴 사고의 원인이 거대 상어였다는 믿지 못할 얘기를 듣게 된다. 캣은 상어에 대한 생존자의 얘기를 믿지 않지만 굴착지 근처에서 직접 거대 상어를 목격하게 되고 그의 말이 거짓이 아니었음을 알게 된다. 한편 거대 상어에 대한 소문이 퍼지면서 해변가에는 주 방위군이 배치되고 캣은 군의 책임자를 찾아가 자신이 알아낸 상어에 대한 정보를 알려주며 놈을 없애기 위한 준비에 들어가는데...

A quirky anthology, consisting of four separate short films connected by host segments. The first one, BOOGIE WITH THE UNDEAD, has an all girl rock band booked to play a gig in a town overrun by flesh-eating zombies. In the second one, THE DEVIL'S DUE AT MIDNIGHT, a coven of beautiful witches conjure up Brad Dourif as The Devil, and endures the inept attacks of witch killer Ken Foree. In the first long segment, HER MORBID DESIRES, an actress gets the lead role in a vampire movie, only to discover that starlets are being murdered on the set. The other long segment, CRY OF THE MUMMY, has the reincarnated mummy, formerly the last Pharaoh of the 4th Dynasty, looking to sue the movie studios because he can't get work as a mummy. His new lawyer offers to represent him as an agent, but the mummy will only work in film if he can direct.

Among the finalists for "Centerfold Of The Year" are Angel and her spiteful rival Betty. However, no one is aware of Angel's involvement in a secret medical beauty enhancement program headed by Dr. Lindstrom. Desperate to win, Angel overdoses on Lindstrom's formula, with disastrous results. Soon she has grown to monstrous but shapely proportions, causing all sorts of complications, the most dangerous being Betty's jealousy of Angel's new-found attention.
