1961년 보스톤, 레드휜(Giles Redferne: 리차드 E. 그랜트 분)이 오랜 시간과 노력 끝에 잡아놓은 악의 추종자 워락(Warlock: 줄리안 샌즈 분)은 처형 직전에 사탄의 도움으로 300년 후의 LA로 날아간다. 1991, LA. 사나운 폭풍우에 유리창이 깨지면서 잠이 깬 카산드라(Kassandra: 로리 싱거 분)와 집주인 채스(Chas: 케빈 오브라이언 분)는 자신의 거실에 쓰러져 있는 낯선 남자를 발견하고 간호해준다. 다음날 의식이 돌아온 워락은 혼자 남아있는 채스를 무참히 살해한다. 경찰은 그의 죽음을 엮기적인 살인사건으로 일단락 져버린다. 한편, 채스의 죽음으로 짐을 챙기던 카산드라는 악마의 성서를 찾아 다시 돌아온 워락에게 저주를 받아 하루에 20년씩 늙어간다. 워락을 다시 잡기위해 그의 뒤를 뒤쫓아온 레드휜은 카산드라에게 워락의 존재에 대해 설명해준다. 악마는 자신의 부활을 막기위해 세갈래로 나누어 숨겨놓은 자신의 성서를 다시 복원시켜 악의 문을 열려고 한다. 워락은 악의 성서를 찾아주는 조건으로 악마의 독생자 자리를 보장받는다. 하룻밤 사이에 40세로 늙어버린 카산드라는 악의 저주에서 벗어나기 위해 레드휜과 함께 워락의 추적에 참여한다. 레드휜은, 클로라도의 한적한 레노나이트 교도의 농장에서 두번째 악의 성서를 찾아온 워락을 찾아낸다. 그러나 전보다 악마성이 훨씬 강해진 워락은 교묘하게 빠져나가고 카산드라만이 겨우 저주만을 벗어난다. 그들은 마지막 세번째 성서가 묻힌 보스톤으로 간다. 3백년전 레드휜이 자신의 무덤속에 묻혀있는 마지막 성서를 발견하고 안도를 하면서도, 자신의 죽음을 확인하는 고통을 맛본다. 그때, 묘지로 찾아온 워락은 강력한 악의힘으로 마지막 악의 성서를 복원시키고 그들은 필사적인 대항을 한다.

A family on vacation stops at a roadside restaurant where a gang of criminals are holding the employees hostage. When one of the hostages tries to enlist their help, the family is added to the group. Disagreements on how the hostages should be treated leads to dissent among the criminals, who are awaiting the arrival of their leader. (The leader, for unexplained reasons, has all the stolen money.) Some hostages are killed; when the leader arrives, the hostages overpower them and free themselves.

Three showgirls on their way to Las Vegas have car trouble and are stuck all night out in the desert. The next morning cheerful Andre offers them help in fixing their car. However, Andre is really a maniac with a lot of family problems; his mother ran out on him when he was a child so now he keeps kidnapped women chained up in his barn and trains them to perform circus tricks. Andre's father is still around of course, but because the old homestead is next to a nuclear test site he has been transformed into a raving homicidal mutant that Andre keeps locked up in a shed.

A successful and popular nightclub owner who believes financial independence is the path to equality and success, must act as a go-between for militant-minded brother and the white gang syndicate his brother has attacked and robbed. Their involvements lead to a breathless race course chase, the destruction of a dopepusher and a violent waterfront climax.
