Uma comédia sobre seis jovens que dividem gostos, sonhos, inquietudes e o mesmo prédio em Seattle. Cada um tem o desejo de amar e ser amado e todos têm a difícil tarefa de encontrar a felicidade.

Dois jovens, Jack e Pilot (Jared Leto e Jake Gyllenhaal), decidem fugir de Las Vegas para Seattle para escapar de gângsteres. No caminho conhecem várias pessoas, incluindo a prostituta Cassie (Selma Blair) e um quarto passageiro que está indo para Seattle por causa da morte de Kurt Cobain, ex-vocalista da banda Nirvana. Eventualmente Jack começa a suspeitar das razões de Pilot ter escolhido Seattle como o seu destino.

Building from the grass roots, self-promoted and self-recorded until break-out success of bands like Nirvana brought the record industry to the Pacific Northwest, a phenomenon was born.
