Christopher Robin já não é mais aquele jovem garoto que adorava embarcar em aventuras ao lado de Ursinho Pooh e outros adoráveis animais no Bosque dos 100 Acres. Agora um homem de negócios, ele cresceu e perdeu o rumo de sua vida, mas seus amigos de infância decidem entrar no mundo real para ajudá-lo a se lembrar que aquele amável e divertido menino ainda existe em algum lugar.

Abruptamente abandonada pelo namorado, uma jovem americana (Murphy) se vê de repente em Tokyo totalmente perdida e sozinha, em meio a uma cultura completamente diferente da sua. Tentando reorganizar a sua vida, Abby de uma hora para outra se percebe frequentando o restaurante de ramen típico de seu bairro; depois de observar os mágicos efeitos que a comida do restaurante tinha sobre os seus clientes, Abby se convence de que o seu destino é se tornar uma chefe de cozinha especializada em Ramen. Ela consegue convencer o chefe japonês tirano e temperamental de onde ela trabalha a ensiná-la a arte de se fazer um bom ramen. Apesar do péssimo relacionamento entre os dois, ambos descobrem juntos o ingrediente mais importante de todos; cozinhar com amor.
