Apollo (Carl Weathers) morre em uma luta com Drago (Dolph Lundgren), um invencível lutador russo. Assim, Rocky (Sylvester Stallone) decide ir até a União Soviética para enfrentá-lo e vingar o amigo.

Depois de ter sido derrotado pelo arrogante Clubber Lang, Rocky Balboa decide reconquistar o título de campeão de pesos pesados e se prepara para uma revanche. Para treinar, o lutador pede a ajuda de seu antigo adversário, Apollo Creed.

Ma Jun é um agente de polícia de Hong Kong que não tolera o crime, e por isso mesmo luta contra três poderosos irmãos da máfia vietnamita. No grupo dos bandidos está infiltrado Wilson, que é um velho camarada de Ma Jun. Ele consegue ganhar a confiança de todos os mafiosos, mas chega o dia em que seu disfarce é descoberto. A partir daí a segurança de Wilson está em risco.

Nas Olimpíadas Irwin Flitzer (John Candy) desgraçou a si mesmo quando colocou pesos extras no seu time de trenó, fazendo com que ele tivesse de devolver sua medalha de ouro. Alguns anos depois, Derice Bannock (Leon), um jamaicano filho de um antigo amigo de Irwin, fracassa para se classificar como velocista para a prova de 100 metros nas Olimpíadas, por causa de um estúpido acidente. Mas quando Derice descobre que Flitzer também vive na Jamaica, ele decide ir para as Olimpíadas de qualquer jeito, não como um corredor mas liderando uma equipe de trenó.

Ray, um agricultor em Iowa, ouve uma voz misteriosa durante à noite vinda do seu milharal dizendo: "Se você construir, ele virá", e sente a necessidade de obedecer. Então, ele constrói um campo de beisebol, apoiado por sua mulher, Annie. Mais tarde, os fantasmas de grandes jogadores começam a aparecer para jogar, liderados por "Shoeless" Joe Jackson. Ray busca um autor recluso para entender essas mensagens e o verdadeiro propósito do campo que construiu.

Mas seu trabalhado não é terminado, pois um empresário atrai o jovem pugilista com um alto salário, mas mestre e aluno ainda vão se reencontrar como rivais.

Um cachorro muito inteligente passa os dias filosofando e aprendendo o que é ser humano a partir das observações que faz sobre a vida de seu dono, o piloto Denny Swift.

Técnico do Shiloh Eagles há seis anos, Grant Taylor (Alex Kendrick) nunca conseguiu levar sua equipe ao título da temporada. Além do mau desempenho no trabalho, Grant deve enfrentar outros problemas graves em casa e seu estado psicológico e moral nunca esteve tão abatido. Quando tudo parece estar prestes a ir por água abaixo, uma intervenção misteriosa muda o seu destino.
