Tati gosta de Marcelo que gosta de namoras muitas garotas. Sincera (às vezes em excesso), Tati demonstra seu amor, mas só consegue afastar Marcelo. Ao assistir a uma palestra do jovem professor e biólogo Conrado, ela tem uma ideia: aplicar as polêmicas teorias dele em seu relacionamento. Conrado desenvolve um guia técnico de sedução a partir da teoria de Charles Darwin, comparando o comportamento dos jovens namorados com o dos animais. A bela cobaia é aplicada e tudo parece dar certo na reconquista de Marcelo. A experiência "científica" se complica quando o envolvimento do professor com a aluna deixa um cheiro de romance no ar.
