Ma Jun é um agente de polícia de Hong Kong que não tolera o crime, e por isso mesmo luta contra três poderosos irmãos da máfia vietnamita. No grupo dos bandidos está infiltrado Wilson, que é um velho camarada de Ma Jun. Ele consegue ganhar a confiança de todos os mafiosos, mas chega o dia em que seu disfarce é descoberto. Então, ele constrói um campo de beisebol, apoiado por sua mulher, Annie. Mais tarde, os fantasmas de grandes jogadores começam a aparecer para jogar, liderados por "Shoeless" Joe Jackson. Ray busca um autor recluso para entender essas mensagens e o verdadeiro propósito do campo que construiu.
