Carry On Behind (1975)

Joan Wilder (Kathleen Turner) é uma romancista mimada que vai ajudar a irmã, que foi seqüestrada na Colômbia. Se ela não levar um mapa que mostra a localização de um tesouro, sua irmã será morta. Mas enquanto tenta cumprir a exigência, conhece Jack Colton (Michael Douglas), um aventureiro e mercenário que a ajuda e por quem se apaixona. Juntos, os dois se envolvem em diversas aventuras.

Um arquiteto casado e com filhos está cada vez mais frustrado por passar a maior parte de seu tempo trabalhando. Um dia, ele encontra um inventor excêntrico que lhe dá um controle remoto universal, com capacidade de acelerar o tempo.

Após perder sua carga, que afundou em tempestade, o navio "Sea Star" procura refúgio no centro do furacão, na tentativa de fazer reparos. Lá descobrem um navio russo para pesquisa científicas com equipamentos de última geração mas que, aparentemente, foi abandonado. Robert Everton (Donald Sutherland), o capitão do "Sea Star" vê uma oportunidade de ganhar muito dinheiro, pois a recompensa para um navio de tal porte seria de 30 milhões de dólares. No entanto, a navegadora Kit Foster (Jamie Lee Curtis) e o engenheiro chefe Steve Baker (William Baldwin) não acreditam, que tudo será tão simples e estavam certos, pois uma força misteriosa começa a eliminar todos os membros da tripulação.

Captain Crowther's lot is not a happy one! Five of his crew have to be replaced and at such short notice before the voyage begins there isn't much to choose from. Not only does he get the five most incompetent shipmates ever to sail the seven seas, but the passengers turn out to be a rather strange bunch too. The SS Happy Wanderer will never be the same.

Tenth entry in the Carry On series. Able seaman Poop-Decker signs up for adventure on the high seas with the wicked Captain Fearless. Those swabbing the decks include Juliet Mills, Charles Hawtrey and Donald Houston. The film was originally to be titled Up the Armada, but the British Board of Film Censors objected to such a rude title.
