Black Market (2006)

Josie, a filha do empresário mais rico da cidade, enfrenta problemas em casa e deseja deixar a cidade, mas está desorientada. Sua decisão é finalizada depois que ela adormece no camarim do Target. Em 2005 o esporte mais popular é o rollerball, um jogo violento e por vezes mortal que envolve skates e motos e é jogado em arenas espalhadas ao redor do planeta. Os principais astros do rollerball são Jonathan Cross (Chris Klein), Marcus Ridley (LL Cool J) e Aurora (Rebecca Romjin-Stamos), que decidem denunciar a corrupção existente por trás dos jogos após descobrirem que Aleci Petrovich (Jean Reno), o dono do principal time do rollerball, é capaz de fazer qualquer coisa para manipular os resultados dos jogos ao seu bel prazer. Porém, ao saber da intenção de Jonathan e seus colegas Aleci logo arma um plano para eliminar todas as provas existentes contra ele, incluindo os três jogadores.

Após causar uma grande quantidade de caos, um garçom (Charles Chaplin) decide pegar seus patins e vai até o rinque de patinação de gelo da cidade. Depois do verdadeiro balé no gelo, o garçom é convidado para uma grande festa na casa de Edna (Edna Purviance) e lá, ele causa mais confusões ainda.

In a future in which most water has disappeared from the Earth, we find a group of children, mostly teenagers, who are living at an orphanage, run by the despotic rulers of the new Earth. The group in question plays a hockey based game on roller skates and is quite good. It has given them a unity that transcends the attempts to bring them to heel by the government. Finding an orb of special power, they find it has unusual effects on them. They escape from the orphanage (on skates) and try to cross the wasteland looking for a place they can live free as the storm-troopers search for them and the orb.

Teen lovers Bobby and Terry band together with other roller skaters to try and prevent a powerful mobster taking over the land their favourite skating rink sits on, and compete in the Boogie Contest.

Spike waves to a young woman driving a red pickup truck through the desert of Needles, California every day; it is the highlight of his day. In this combined animated and live-action special, we meet an aerobics instructor, Jenny, who wants to be a big city jazz dancer. She and Spike drive around looking at the desert scenery and spending some time at a roller rink. However, when Spike is accidentally thrown out of the skating rink he runs off and is pursued by people on a nighttime coyote hunt.
