A Macabre Legacy (1939)

Um médico que faz experiências com técnicas de transplante mantém a cabeça de sua namorada viva quando ela é decapitada em um acidente de carro, agora é a hora de achar um novo corpo.

Henry Frankenstein, um cientista louco, vive obcecado pela ideia de criar um ser, com partes de corpos humanos que vai roubando, e ao qual tenciona dar vida usando a electricidade. O que ele desconhece é que o seu ajudante, o corcunda Fritz, roubou o cérebro de um psicopata para a criatura, que assim se tornará num monstro que usa da violência sem qualquer critério.

Os veteranos do terror Lon Chaney (Lobisomem) e John Carradine (Drácula) chegam ao laboratório do Dr. Edelman (Onslow Stevens) para implorar uma cura para seus instintos assassinos. When the serial murders seem to coincide with Isabel's touring schedule, ace reporter "Scoop" McClure gets on the mad scientist's trail.

A police doctor's investigation of the deaths leads to the discovery of an army of dead criminal musclemen restored to life, remotely controlled by a vengeful former crime boss and a former Nazi scientist, from the latter's laboratory hidden in the suburbs.
