Os internos do asilo que foram para um outro planeta aproveitam uma oportunidade e pegam uma "carona", para poderem rever seus familiares e amigos. Mas quando chegam na Terra começam a questionar se devem continuar no planeta ou retornar a Antares, enquanto seus amigos alienígenas se preocupam em resgatar alguns de seus antepassados.

Extra-terrestres vem a Terra com a missão de recuperar casulos com seres de outro planeta sendo que, enquanto os casulos vão sendo recuperados, eles são colocados em uma piscina, energizada pelos alienígenas. Mas os extraterrenos ignoram o fato desta piscina ser utilizada por três idosos moradores de um asilo, que logo passam a ter uma disposição fantástica. Porém, quando descobrem a origem da sua juventude, um dilema surge na vida deles.

As the film begins, Takao (Akira Terao) and Michiko (Kanako Higuchi) have already pulled up their Tokyo roots and moved to a village that is Takao's ancestral home. Together they admire the view -- from an inspiring distance. Oume, it turns out, is a kind of sage, whose thoughts and observations are a popular feature in a column in a local newsletter. Her amanuensis is a mute, sweetly smiling young woman named Sayuri (Manami Konishi), who is as devoted to Oume as Oume is to the souls of her beloved dead.

When a quiet group of pensioners learn that their homes are to be torn down to make way for a block of flats, they decide to take action. What starts as an attempt to discourage the developers soon escalates into wholesale murder of both the developers and the construction workers.
