My Father (2013)

Bryan Mills é um ex-agente do governo, que deixou o emprego para que pudesse passar mais tempo com Kim, a filha que teve com sua ex-esposa Lenore. Ele passa então a trabalhar com antigos colegas, realizando serviços leves de segurança particular. Um dia Kim pede ao pai autorização para que viaje a Paris com uma amiga, a qual é negada pelo fato de que Bryan sabe bem os perigos que ela correria em um país estranho. Isto não a impede, fazendo a viagem assim mesmo. Só que o temor de Bryan se concretiza, já que logo após a chegada Kim e sua amiga desaparecem.

Na sequela de um dos filmes de maior sucesso, Bryan Mills e sua filha Kim encontrarão desta vez problemas em Istambul. Quando Mills descobre que sua ex-mulher Lenore está a divorciar-se do actual companheiro, decide convidá-la e a Kim para se juntar a ele em Istambul no que promete ser um fim de semana perfeito para reconquistar o coração de Lenore. Quando Bryan e Lenore são raptados, Kim consegue escapar e a perseguição começa.

Passado algum tempo ela terá de se casar novamente, agora com um mafioso russo disposto a pagar muito dinheiro para também conquistar sua cidadania. Mas para que esse segundo casamento seja possível, Fabio tem um plano de assassinar Claudy. E Lorna deverá manter-se em silêncio sobre esse crime.

Albania’s Nobel-nominated novelist Ismail Kadare wrote two of his most famed masterpieces, Kështjella (The Castle) (1970) and Kronikë në gur (Chronicle in Stone) (1971) during this period. The rock'n'roll and jazz arrangements featured in this concert documentary were the pretext that brought about the end to the artistic thaw. Several performers seen in the festival were sent to prison or internal exile. The portly, smiling music conductor, Gasper Çurçia, was later accused of forging bus tickets and executed.

Sokol is a middle-aged Kosovar Albanian who, together with his family, emigrates from Kosovo to Turkey, and faces the foreign and unknown world. Stolen Kosovo is a Czech language documentary by director Václav Dvořák (b. 1948), about the Serbian–Albanian conflict in Kosovo. The documentary describes the situation, first in a short overview of the history of the area, followed by the 1990s conflicts and bombing of Serbia by NATO forces in 1999 and ending with the situation after the Kosovo War. The documentary focuses on the 1990s in the time of Slobodan Milošević's rule as well as on numerous interviews of Serbian civilians and, less, of Albanian insurgents against the Milošević regime.
