Sinopse
O filme reúne três contos de Nathaniel Hawthornes: A Experiência do Dr. Heidigger: Alex Medbourne e Carl Heidigger são amigos e, após uma tempestade, encontram o corpo inalterado da ex-noiva de Carl morta há 38 anos. Eles suspeitam que um líquido misterioso fosse o responsável pela conservação do corpo. Juntos planejam usar o líquido para ressuscitá-la. A Filha de Rappaccini: Em Pádua, o jovem Giovanni Guasconti se apaixona pela bela Beatrice, a filha de Rappaccini, um eminente cientista. Porém, Giovanni só pode vê-la da varanda da sua casa, pois Beatrice não permite que ele vá até seu jardim. A Casa dos Sete Telhados: Na Nova Inglaterra, em 1691, vários inocentes foram executados, acusados de bruxaria. Four orphan boys running from the law in New York stumble upon a baby in a carriage. They decide to head west and take the baby which they name Mary Rose with them. Eventually they set up a ranch which they name Rose Hill. Mary Rose grows up to be a beautiful woman and gets involved with a man who kills one of her brothers. Her brothers then explain to her that they found her in New York and she returns to find her real family. During this time Rose Hill is falling apart since her oldest brother has fallen ill and her other two brothers have gone their separate ways.

The Hound of the Baskervilles is a 1981 Soviet film adaptation of Arthur Conan Doyle's novel The Hound of the Baskervilles. It was the third installment in the TV series about adventures of Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson. A potent streak of humour ran through the film as concerns references to traditional British customs and stereotypes, ensuring the film's popularity with several generations of Russophone viewers. Other features of this best entry in the series include excellent exterior shots which closely match the novel's setting in the Dartmoor marshland, as well as an all-star cast: in addition to the famous Livanov -Solomin duo as Holmes and Watson, the film stars the internationally acclaimed actor/director Nikita Mikhalkov as Sir Henry Baskerville and the Russian movie legend Oleg Yankovsky as the villain Stapleton.
Perry is at TV station "KGGY" to be interviewed but thanks to the interference of main anchor-person Brett Huston the interview is pulled. Mostly everybody hates Brett as Brett knows all the station workers secrets. He has also written a memo insulting all of the main station players - Vic St. John - the station manager, Twyla Cooper - the producer, Chuck Gilmore - the sports reporter, Gary Slate - the weatherman, Cassie Woodfield - the reporter and Gillian Pope. Brett is shot dead with Gillian's gun and therefore is arrested for the crime. Gillian calls in Perry, Della and Ken to investigate. As Della and Perry set out to solve the mystery, Ken gets close to Cassie but she is a suspect and when it appears that somebody is trying to kill her, the mystery deepens..
