Paris 1967. Jean-Luc Godard, o mais influente cineasta de sua geração, está filmando `La Chinoise´ com a mulher que ama, Anne Wiazemsky, 20 anos mais jovem. Eles são felizes, atraentes, apaixonados e se casam. Mas a recepção do filme desencadeia uma profunda reflexão em Gordard. Os eventos de maio de 68 vão amplificar esse processo, e a crise que abala o cineasta irá transformá-lo profundamente, de um cineasta superstar à um artista Maoísta inteiramente fora do sistema e incompreendido.

Jean-Luc Godard brings his firebrand political cinema to the UK, exploring the revolutionary signals in late '60s British society. Constructed as a montage of various disconnected political acts (in line with Godard's then appropriation of Soviet director Dziga Vertov's agitprop techniques), it combines a diverse range of footage, from students discussing The Beatles to the production line at the MG factory in Oxfordshire, burnished with onscreen political sloganeering.

Tudo quase sempre emoldurado por um cenário branco, o que parece demonstrar que este é mais do que um filme sobre uma dada mulher. Pelo contrário, é uma reflexão de caráter geral, marcada por uma depuração quase total.

Documentary about two young Spanish filmmakers who challenge Jean Luc Godard to a tennis match, and in the way to the game, they will visit his colleagues, and friends in order to know him, and offer a new approach to his work and his personality.

A collaborator since 2002 (Notre Musique), Fabrice Aragno did not want to make a documentary ‘on’ but ‘with’ Jean-Luc Godard. The latter decided on a mathematical approach. The TV station asked for 26 minutes, and so Godard suggested they make 26 one-minute sequences, and have 4 shots in each sequence, all recycled from his work.

Chantal Akerman reads a script detailing the woes that befell her on the day she thought about "The Future of Cinema". The camera continuously rotates 360 degrees around her apartment as she rereads the script at an exponentially increasing speed. At its heart, an homage to Godard.
