Brown Bear's Wedding (1991)

Max (Max Records), fantasiado de lobo, faz malcriações com sua mãe (Catherine Keener) por ciúmes de um amigo dela (Mark Ruffalo). Como castigo, é mandado para o quarto sem jantar. Max resolve fugir de casa e usa a imaginação para criar uma misteriosa ilha. Lá ele encontra vários monstros, que vivem em bando. Max afirma possuir poderes e acaba nomeado rei do grupo. Responsável por evitar que a tristeza tome conta do lugar, ele passa a criar uma série de jogos para mantê-los em constante diversão.

Posteriormente, Lucy acaba conhecendo um escritor de histórias para crianças e pensa em se casar com ele. Apesar de não concordar com esta decisão, Daniel decide não mais aparecer e fazer com que Lucy acredite que todas as conversas que tiveram juntos foi produto da imaginação dela.
