The Black Crowes - Freak 'n' Roll... Into the Fog (2006)
Gênero : Música
Runtime : 2H 30M
Director : Mark Lucas
Sinopse
Rip-roaring rock ‘n roll. In 2005 The Black Crowes played a five night gig at The Fillmore in San Francisco. This appears to be a document of the one night they hooked up with the four-man Left Coast Horns (who apparently had only that afternoon to work out arrangements and rehearse with the band). Did they get it together? Fuckin’ A! You have to love a band that walks out on stage and opens up by kicking every ass in the house with a burner like “(Only) Half Way to Everywhere”.
Against the stunning backdrop of the Koninklijk Theater Carré in Amsterdam, blues-rock vocalist Beth Hart and world-renowned guitar hero Bonamassa are on blistering form, turning in an awe-inspiring set of scorching soul covers taken from their 2011 debut album “Don’t Explain” and the 2013 follow-up “Seesaw”, which was Grammy-nominated in the “Best Blues Album” category.
Recorded live in Tokyo, January 1985. Tracklisting: 'Scuttle Buttin", 'Say What', 'Voodoo Chile', 'Cold Shot', 'Couldn't Stand the Weather', 'Tin Pan Alley (Dirty Pool)', 'Mary Had a Little Lamb', 'Love Struck Baby', 'Texas Flood', 'Lenny' and 'Testify'.
Jethro Tull is one of the most successful British acts of all time with a career reaching from the late sixties to the present day. In 2003 they made their first (and so far only) visit to the Montreux Festival. As ever Ian Anderson leads from the front with his instantly recognizable voice and inimitable style of one-legged flute playing. Split into a semi-acoustic first half and a full on electric second half, the concert was a triumph combining newer songs such as “Dot Com”, “Pavane” and “Budapest” with classic favorites.
In the 1970s, England's Electric Light Orchestra (aka ELO) was renowned for both its lushly textured prog rock and its ornately orchestrated arena concerts. This program captures the band performing live at London's Wembley Stadium in support of their OUT OF THE BLUE album in 1978, combining a spectacular light show and special effects with classic tunes such as "Standing in the Rain," "Sweet Talking Woman," "Mr. Blue Sky," and many more.
Going To California is a concert performance video by the British pop group Tears For Fears. Released in 1990, it is a recording of the band's show at the Santa Barbara County Bowl in May 1990 during their "Seeds Of Love" World Tour.
Blue Oyster Cult celebrates 30 years of incredible rock with their new DVD home video A Long Day's Night. The tight-knit neighbors on Arthur Avenue have proudly lit Christmas luminaries for 40 years, but that long-standing tradition is cancelled this year when Matt Norman, a teenage boy in the neighborhood, is hospitalized in desperate need of a heart transplant. As his parents Ann and Mike anxiously pray by his bedside, a donor is found, while in Detroit, a mother is in anguish at her own son’s bedside. When Matt's neighbors decide to honor him in the best way they know how, they just might help save his life.
