The first “Metal Meltdown” concert series event kicked off at The Joint at the world famous Hard Rock Casino in Las Vegas on May 30, 2015. Legendary, multi-Platinum selling rockers Twisted Sister performed an explosive 90-minute concert of their biggest hits spanning their 40-year career. The show was dedicated to the honor of Twisted Sister’s iconic drummer, A.J. Pero, whose tragic, sudden death just two months prior to the filming of this event shocked the music world. The band announced that not only were all the remaining concerts being performed in 2015 dedicated to the memory of A.J. Pero, but that 2016 would mark the 40th and final year of the band’s legendary live performances. They recruited renowned drummer and friend of A.J. Pero, Mike Portnoy (The Winery Dogs, Dream Theater, Avenged Sevenfold) to take the reins, and his very first Twisted Sister appearance was captured by the “Metal Meltdown” camera crew.
In the summer of 2011, The Protomen released their first self-titled album, now known as Act I, on vinyl. To celebrate that release, they played a show in their hometown of Nashville, Tennessee. That night, in a rare occurrence, they played Act I in its entirety, as well as the majority of their subsequent album, Act II: The Father of Death. This is that show.

O que à partida seria um simples gesto de revolta face às editoras musicais, viria a revelar-se no entanto uma estratégia de marketing fortíssima quer em termos financeiros quer em termos de fidelização de fãs, elevando o conjunto britânico a estatuto de super-banda. Desta feita, a banda britânica decidiu premiar os seus seguidores de forma totalmente gratuita com o filme de um concerto dado na cidade de Praga a 23 de Agosto de 2009 . Intitulado «Radiohead – Live in Praha», este filme tem a particularidade de ter sido captado através de 50 mini- câmaras dispersas por vários elementos do público, conseguindo desta forma captar diferentes perspectivas do concerto, agora organizadas de acordo com o alinhamento e disponibilizadas para o grande público.
