O pai, a mãe e os três filhos vivem numa casa nos subúrbios da cidade. À volta dela, existe uma cerca alta que as crianças nunca passaram. O único elemento com acesso à família é Christina, que visita regularmente a casa para apaziguar os impulsos sexuais do primogénito. Toda a família gosta dela, sobretudo a filha mais velha. Um dia, Christina oferece-lhe uma bandolete com pedras e pede-lhe algo em troca.

Winding its way through visions of the future, traditions, nature, concrete, gardens and high-tech, KOCHUU tells us how contemporary Japanese architects strive to unite the ways of modern man with the old philosophies in astounding constructions. Interviews with, and works by, Japanese architects Tadad Ando, Kisho Kurokawa, Toyo Ito and Kazuo Shinohara and Scandinavian architects Sverre Fehn, Kristian Gullichsen and Juhani Pallasmaa.

The director goes back to her roots in Pangnirtung, amongst her family and community. It leads her to another journey: to Qipisa, the outpost camp from where they were uprooted.

The event celebrates the Norwegian-Irish duo’s two decade career that includes eight studio albums with sales in excess of 5 million copies. The concert features the Kristiansand Symphony Orchestra along with special guest artists such as Ole Edvard Antonsen, Tracey Campbell, Cathrine Iversen and Espen Grjotheim.
