Taiwanese martial arts movie by Karen Yang Chia-Yun

Eddie (Donnie Yen) is a young man good at both fighting and breakdancing. His cousin Stella (May Lo) has a crush on him, but apparently he loves someone else. Eddie creates trouble when he tries to help out Mini (Yuen Woo-Ping), a hawker whose business is confiscated by the cops. Mini ends up moving in with Stella, Eddie, and his sister (Wong Wan-Si), leading to possible romance as the mismatched couples struggle to get by beneath the same roof. But a powerful fighter named Power (Dick Wei) admires Eddie's skills, and challenges him to a duel. Eddie refuses, so Power kidnaps Stella to get his way. With no choice remaining Eddie, decides to meet Power for a showdown.

Lo Lieh stars as Sima Jun, a killer working for a corrupt lord whose orders are followed without question or hesitation. When the lord suffers from a life-threatening boil on his back, he is told by the Imperial doctor that an herb called "Longevity Rattan" offers the only cure and is grown in a remote village by an herbalist named Tan. Lo is sent on a mission to get the herb and bring it back before it's too late.

Director Ho Meng-hua is one of Shaw Studio's most versatile directors. He's helmed romances, mysteries, award-winning dramas, contemporary action films, historical costume dramas, fantasies, and, finally, popular swordplay movies. The title character in this one is a chivalrous thief who raises the jealous ire of the rival Red Shirt Gang. There's plenty of action in this adventure, which sweeps from the plains to the mountains ... to the sound of slashing swords.

Franz Bulon is a police inspector intent on bringing down a major drug ring operating in Hamburg. After seeing his father murdered and his mother abducted by a caveman-like martial arts cult, a small boy is taken in by a wizened old kung fu master, who rigorously trains him until he is endowed with almost supernatural fighting skills. This training, however, takes much less time than it would in most martial arts films, in which the kid would attain mastery at about the same time he reaches adulthood. Instead what we get is a sword-wielding 5 year old waging a bloody war of revenge against an assortment of adult-sized demons and people in heartbreakingly threadbare monster costumes.

Assassins are after a prostitute who has come into possession of a cigarette lighter that, unbeknownst to her, contains the negatives that show a politician's assassination. A delightfully playful giallo starring the beautiful Carole Bouquet as Mystère, a high class call girl who becomes the target for a couple of assassins.
