The Mailman (2020)

Jovem psiquiatra assume trabalho num instituto para doentes mentais, onde também estão encarcerados quatro pacientes extremamente violentos e perigosos. Certa noite, durante um blecaute, os quatro psicopatas conseguem fugir de suas celas e instalam o caos, atacando a casa do médico e aterrorizando sua famíia.

Young David Kinemon is a good-natured, easy-going lad in a mountain village. Circumstances force him to take his brother's place as mail carrier for the community, and this brings him into deadly contact with the vicious Hatburn brothers.

Cheyenne Rogers (Ford), um caçador de recompensas, viaja até Red Valley, onde conhece e enamora-se de Allison MacLeod (Evelyn Keyes). Seu principal problema e com seu amigo Cheenne (Glenn Ford), que durante algum tempo foi um deliquente, mas se aposentou há muitos anos. Quando o banco é roubado, Cheyenne se converte, diante dos olhos da comunidade, no principal suspeito. Somente seu amigos parece estar convencido da sua inocência. Um dos primeiros filmes rodados em Technicolor, e também a primeira pareceria entre o ditador Charles Vidor e Glenn Ford, que depois alcançariam a glória com Rita Hayworth, em Gilda (1946) e Os Amores de Carmen (1948). O conflito entre a lei e a amizade.

During a typically disaster-filled day, Ben Harris, an angry and frustrated bachelor mailman living in a cluttered Greenwich Village basement, learns he has been paying rent to a woman who hasn't owned his building in 6 years. No longer able to endure the injustices of society, he decides to activate the ferocious tiger within himself by abducting a helpless female and dragging her back to his lair.

A young daughter of poor farmers is forced by her mother to ditch her young boyfriend in order to marry an old rich neighbor but the girl rebels by becoming the town's harlot.

Like most Fleischer cartoons from the early '30s, there are lots of stream-of-conscious gags here. They are related by Bimbo's adventures as a mailman.

Joe and Ethel Turp are up in arms when their faithful old mailman is fired. Unable to get satisfaction on a municipal level, Joe and Ethel plead their mailman's case to the President himself.
