Michael Jackson: 30th Anniversary Special foi uma série de 2 concertos que ocorreram em 7 de setembro de 2001 e em 10 de setembro de 2001. Em novembro de 2001, o canal de televisão CBS transmitiu os concertos em um especial de 2 horas em homenagem aos 30 anos de carreira solo de Michael Jackson.

Após falharem no pub crawl, uma competição de bebidas em vários bares diferentes em apenas uma noite, cinco amigos retornam para a cidade natal vinte anos após o fracasso. O objetivo do grupo é dar-se mais uma chance. O único porém é: a juventude se foi e a vida adulta cobra o seu preço.

Em Los Angeles Joe Friday (Dan Aykroyd), um detetive da polícia, cumpre a lei rigidamente, mas seu novo parceiro é Pep Streebeck (Tom Hanks), um tira honesto mas com um comportamento bem diferente.
