Tony Hendra (10 July 1941 – 4 March 2021) was an English satirist, actor and writer who worked mostly in the United States. Educated at St Albans School (where he was a classmate of Stephen Hawking) and at St John's College, Cambridge, he was a member of the Cambridge University Footlights revue in 1962, alongside John Cleese, Graham Chapman and Tim Brooke-Taylor.
Hendra was probably best known for being the head writer and co-producer in 1984 of the first six shows of the long-running British satirical television series Spitting Image, and for starring in the film This Is Spinal Tap as the band's manager Ian Faith.
Hendra died on 4 March 2021 of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.

A deodorant company with a product called "Smell No Mo" pits two rival ad agencies in a race to come up with a campaign for a new-fangled sanitary napkin called Vorcan. The advertising satire follows the New York firm of Cranston & Co. as they fight rival Hoffman & Partners. Cranston fires his creative director which puts a young copywriter with a literature degree on the front line, even though he doesn't want to be. The contest comes down to a schmaltzy campaign by Hoffman with music by Air Supply that uses the tagline "Vorcan: your own personal air supply." or a more down to earth campaign from Cranston of "The pad ain't bad!"

A excursão serve de lançamento do disco “Smell the Glove”, e o diretor especialista em comerciais de TV, Marty DiBergi (Rob Reiner), é o responsável pelas filmagens do documentário. Durante a viagem, tudo acaba saindo errado: Shows são cancelados, vão a lugares errados, o som das guitarras sofrem interferência e muitas outras situações muito engraçadas. O mais realista e engraçado filme feito sobre a excursão de uma banda e seus problemas.
