Colin (Romain Duris) é um homem rico e despreocupado, que nunca precisou trabalhar. Tímido, ele nunca teve muito sucesso com as mulheres, até ser apresentado a Chloé (Audrey Tautou) durante uma festa. Apesar de um primeiro encontro desastroso, os dois se apaixonam e se casam.
