Três americanos dirigem-se de navio à volta do cabo para os campos de ouro da Califórnia quando são colocados em terra durante várias semanas numa pequena aldeia mexicana adormecida. Enquanto lá estão, é-lhes oferecido o trabalho de seguir uma senhora até às montanhas infestadas de índios do México para salvar o marido das senhoras presas preso por um desmoronamento na sua mina de ouro. Para o trabalho são-lhes prometidos dois mil dólares cada. Enquanto cada uma contempla as suas próprias hipóteses de conseguir a dama e/ou a mina de ouro, se conseguirem sobreviver para desfrutar dela.

In a small Mexican village the news shock neighbors, Ricardo Alfaro, a wealthy local rancher has disappeared without a trace. Taking advantage of the circumstance, Aurora Campos, a strong woman with overwhelming beauty, convinces the authorities to sell her the property in exchange for twelve thousand dollars.
