Após uma reportagem de Bas, Ernest começa a ser difamado pela mídia, que transforma a vida dele e de sua esposa em um verdadeiro pesadelo. Arrependido, Bas decide lutar contra as conspirações, a polícia, a mídia e até os juízes para descobrir a verdade, mas acaba percebendo que a imagem às vezes é mais forte do que os fatos.

Ao descobrir um filhote de corvo caído no chão, e passa a criá-lo e preenche, com o animalzinho, uma lacuna de amor em sua vida. Enquanto bate de frente com o pai para cuidar do filhote, saberemos o paradeiro de sua mãe, que tanta falta tem feito.

When a rape takes place in town, Ewa believes to suspect the rapist. Having no one to share this knowledge with, it furthers her alienation from the people around her, resulting in her being send back home.

A man explains how he was obsessed when he was younger by a mysterious room and an extraordinary rarefied piano music that drifted through its open window during the night. Forty years later, returning to his home town after having spent most of his life abroad, in "a bunch of different places", he asks one of his friends to rent a room for him. As chance would have it, it turns out to be the same room which attracted him when he was a young man. What drew him again to this room?
