A film that tells the stories of transvestite, transgender and transsexual artists who struggle between two genders, two identities, two lives. This project sheds light on the day and night life of the artists who perform mostly at local gay bars and fetish clubs. These artists allow us not only backstage but also into their homes where they open their hearts to us about their deepest dreams and desires. We follow their fight to tear down a new, invisible, wall which is the basis of our isolation.
Yoko Tamura
As a child Takuma is diagnosed with a heart condition that requires care from a cardiologist. He soon becomes friends with his doctors young daughter Mayu while being treated at the hospital. One day Mayu overhears her father saying that Takumas condition is serious enough that he most likely wont live beyond the age of 20. Takuma isn't aware of this himself, however, so at 8-years-old he makes a promise to marry Mayu when they turn 20. Later in life, Takuma becomes aware that he wont be able to keep this promise and he begins distancing himself from Mayu in hopes of protecting her.
Essa é a história de Yamaguchi Hayato, de 25 anos de idade, um pai de família no auge de sua saúde que de repente começa a sentir dificuldades em movimentar-se e procura por ajuda médica. Após análise detalhada, Hayato é diagnosticado com uma doença muito rara que afeta o sistema nervoso e faz com que ele, aos poucos, perca o movimentos de seus membros. Mas, com a a juda de sua esposa e sua filha de 4 anos, ele está disposto a lutar contra essa doença para poder ter o direito de desfrutar de sua vida
Toshiko
Toshiko, a high school student, receives a text message and picture from her brother, whom she has not seen in years. The image foretells the death of a woman a day later. This is only the first of many haunting images that appear throughout the film.
