A group of students go to the north of the country for a two-day camp, but on the eve of going to the sea, their schedule is changed by school officials, which causes problems.

A young woman is murdered by her own father, with the help of her younger brother. She is secretly buried in the cellar, a space where the women of the family weave carpets and perform other domestic chores. Her loss, or perhaps her presence, continues to haunt the family as it reverberates through the following generations. Ayyari’s film is staged exclusively in this house and was banned several times in Iran.

Um homem engana uma família afirmando ser Mohsen Makhmalbaf, um famoso diretor iraniano, e que faria um novo filme em sua casa, estrelado por eles mesmos. Ao desconfiar da fraude, a família chama a polícia e o homem é preso por falsidade ideológica. Sensibilizado com o caso do rapaz, o diretor Abbas Kiarostami o procura e pergunta o que pode fazer por ele, que responde "estou sofrendo muito, faça um filme sobre meu sofrimento". Kiarostami então filma o julgamento do rapaz, e posteriormente reconta a história fazendo de atores os próprios envolvidos no caso.
