A bit later the boss and two women show up, presumably to check on the results. But Osamu’s gang is completely unhinged from the assault and they attack the newcomers, turning the place into a sexual hell.

The background is Yuraku-cho in Tokyo and the film shows how desperately the women, who had led sheltered lives before the war, struggled to keep alive and the innate strength of post-war women.

Kuroki gets tied up and beaten, his wife and customers get tortured and raped, and it is finally up to the mousy cuckold to set things right, Straw Dogs-style.

A bad cop is engaged in a violent chase to catch a yakuza boss. In his absence his wife runs away with another man, who turns out to be the very same man that her husband is hunting. Once he discovers this, he loses his nerve and turns in his badge. But the chase turns into a personal vendetta where the ex-cop plans to wipe out the entire gang.
