Srikanth (S.P Ranadheer) appears as the protagonist while Prithviraj Sukumaran (D.S.P) appears as the antagonist. Sivaram (Rajasekhar), a lawyer is the son of a magistrate (Chalapati Rao) and the brother of an ACP (Benarjee). Sivaram accepts a case and gets the son of an MLA punished after an innocent girl pleads with him about the innocence of her brother. Sivaram loses his heart for that girl, but Sivaram"s parents do not allow their marriage. She commits 'suicide". The rest of the story is all about how Sanjay comes out clean to prove his innocence in front of Sravya’s parents. Analysis: First half of the film is mediocre. Second half is pathetic. The title Naa Girl Friend Baga Rich is not related to the story. It is a crime thriller narrated with dark humor. The director fails in selecting wrong Hollywood film (8 heads in a duffel bag (1997)) to remake in Telugu and falters in a big way. On a whole, NGFBR is a pathetically made film with unappealing content.

Chedugudu is the name of a game, the story here is a chase which ends in a village. This film is essentially a comedy with all the dialogues and characters written with an intention of raising laughs. The movie starts with Chinni (Nagarjuna) revealing, on a train journey from Pune to Hyderabad, that he just got out of jail after seven years. His past is revealed in a flash back. Kavita and Lalita are dearest friends. They've been living together ever since Lalita's father died while trying to save Kavita from being crushed by a machine on a construction site.
