Como romanos e judeus reagiram à este acontecimento, do ponto de vista político e religioso, além da enorme dificuldade que o Cristianismo enfrentou antes de se espalhar. Pedro foi um homem que conseguiu agregar o que estava dividido e mostrou como a amizade entre dois homens capazes de amar e compreender um ao outro.Esta é a história de uma comunidade da qual nasceu uma nova religião que se espalhou pelo mundo afora. A história de uma cidade e seus habitantes em um momento crítico da história humana.

Wahid and his daughter Soufiya return to Tunisia after a long stay in West Africa.Wahid would like to transform Soufiya into a real Tunisian, a true daughter of their land, but the country has changed a lot in there absence.

Set in France in 1961-1962 during the Algerian War, Living in Paradise is a thought-provoking examination of the lives of North African immigrants trying to find a place in the social system of Western Europe.

Twelve-year-old Noura dangles uncertainly in that difficult netherworld between childhood and adulthood. His growing libido has gotten him banned from the women's baths, where his mother took him when he was younger, but he's not yet old enough to participate in grown-up discussions with the men of his Tunisian village. Noura's only real friend is a troublemaker named Salih -- the village political outcast.
