Madhavan Kutty (Anoop Menon) leads a comfortable life with his wife Seetha (Sonal) and his daughter. He has a decent job in a government office, and is a man who seems at peace with himself. A random tiff with an ex-school mate (Nishanth Sagar) makes Madhavan Kutty do the unthinkable, and he sets out to produce a film.

Gopan lived with his widowed father Aravindakshan Nair and falls in love with Sheethal, his neighour. Together they tries the match of former sweethearts Rangaswami Iyengar and Kasthuri who are neighours. But there is twist when a Chennai-born man Swaminathan who see Sheethal.But in the end gopan & sheetal are united.

Story of two brothers

Married at 17 and widowed at 20, Dr. Balasubrahmaniam lives with his teenage son. Son does not want to follow his father into medicine and joins an engineering college. He is killed accidentally by some seniors during ragging. The grief-stricken father tries to avenge his son's death.

Ramya visits her aunt who is a nun in a mental asylum. There she meets Sidharthan (Mohanlal) who leads a spiritual life in the mental asylum.
