-En gammel godsejers eneste datter er død i Italien, efter at hun forlod familien for 15 år siden. Hjem til Danmark kommer nu hendes søn. Han truer godsejerens nevø for sin arv, hvorfor nevøen iværksætter flere planer for at bringe drengen i ugunst hos hans bedstefar. Planerne lykkes næsten, men takket være hjælp fra bl.a. præsten ender historien med en forening mellem barnebarnet og bedstefaderen.

Ellekjærs fremtid ligger Ann-Marie på sinde. Hun forsøge at få sin adoptivdatter, Grete, gift med Erik von der Rude, men Grete elsker forkarlen Jørgen. De beslutter sig for at gifte sig, hvorefter Annemarie slår hånden af Grete. Ann-Marie anden datter, Elin, er dog forelsket i Erik. Eriks fortid fra København indhenter ham dog, og Elin flytter ind hos sin søster. Derefter går filmen gennem en række forviklinger, før endelig Elin og Erik kan blive gift, og Ann-Marie forenes med sine døtre igen.

In the northern part of the Atlantic Ocean on the island of Troldø lives a single farming family. The grandmother Gunhild is the only woman on the island and her son Enok is unable to find a wife. Gunhild's advanced age causes her to worry for the future of the family. So she initiates a plan to get Enok married, a plan that is put into action when the young Eva becomes stranded on the island. But the community must be shaken by several dramatic events before Gunhild can breathe a sigh of relief.

The popular Danish family are vacationing on the island of Bornholm. Unfortunately, they have not been able to get hotel rooms, but Tiny Per, always resourceful, have come up with the idea that they must sleep in a tent. At home in the small family is nothing new. Tiny Per is the school's mischief maker, Sister has heartaches, Mie and Ole has to be in the school play, etc. But suddenly something happens. Good old Uncle Anders has a twin brother in the United States. He called Sofus, and now he comes home to celebrate 70th birthday. He was a troublemaker when he left and now he has become even worse

Niels Pind er en drukkenbolt der bliver udnyttet af nogle af byens beboere. Dette får en ende, da hans søn, Jens kommer tilbage fra Amerika med en masse penge. Jens køber det lokale gods og begynder at udvinde grus fra jorden. Han får hurtigt et dårligt omdømme i området fordi han kun tænker på penge. Niels Pind slår hånden af sin søn. Jens ændres dog, efterhånden som han bliver mere og mere forelsket i Ingrid.

The Danish Ingen tid til Kaertegn (Be Dear to Me) is heavily reliant on the appeal of its star, 8-year-old Eva Cohn. Our heroine is the neglected child of a businessman father and actress mother. Feeling that happiness lies well outside her own backyard, Eva goes on a search for that happiness. The longer she stays away, the more her parents realize that they've unfairly ignored her. The plot is nothing new: it's what is done with it that pleases the eye and ear. Ingen tid til Kaertegn was one of the more popular entries in the 1957 Berlin Film Festival.

Den gamle godsejer Vilhelm Stone har på grund af svaghed for kvinder og spil ødelagt sit ægteskab, mistet sin søn og sine venner. Men da han dør, vender sønnen Niels hjem fra Australien for at overtage godset. Så let går det dog ikke. Sagførere trækker arvesagen i langdrag, og i første omgang arver Niels kun galophesten Ibrahim. Niels satser hårdt på at vinde årets store løb på galopbanen, og det er her Poul Reichhardt synger den berømte schlager Ibrahim til sin hest.. I kampen for at få familie-godset får Niels utrolig hjælp af sin tro følgesvend, karlen Nicholajsen.

-Søren Holm bliver præst i den lille by Harslev. Sognerådsformanden fru Andersen blander sig i præstefamiliens privatliv, og da Søren, for at komme i tale med byens mandlige ungdom, spiller med i en fodboldkamp, bliver fru Andersen gal. Halvdelen af sognet vender Søren ryggen. Men Søren gør et godt arbejde for ungdommen og efterhånden bliver han med degnens mellemkomst både accepteret af sognerådet og af byens ungdom.

The estate Hjortholm is rescued from bankruptcy, as the pleasant doctor Christian Riis fetches the young engineer Erik Kongsted to the estate.

-Efter endt landbrugseksamen vender Ole Offor tilbage til sin fødeby. Det viser sig hurtigt, at hans kæreste gennem flere år skal giftes med en anden. Oles far overtaler Ole til at rejse til Sjælland, hvor proprietær Munks gård trænger til en hjælpende hånd. Ole køber med faren hjælp halvpart i gården. Sammen med Munks datter Bente driver han gården videre. Gamle Munk dør og Ole og Bente bliver gift. Munks anden kone gør alt hun kan for at overtage gården. Som kumpan har hun Willers. Da det endelig se ud til at gå godt for Ole og Bente fremsætter hun krav på større del af arven. De har ikke pengene, så årets Derby kan få stor betydning for gårdens videre skæbne.

A humorous traffic film in which the sinners of traffic are marked with large white crosses. Mr Statistics, in the form of a mysterious man, crosses out the most common traffic offenses by designating the pedestrians, cyclists or motorists in question. The film was shot in Aarhus.

Lad det være sagt med det samme. Musikken i "Alle gaar rundt og forelsker sig" er fantastisk. Den bliver faktisk bedre og bedre med årene. Men det er også en operettefilm, hvor Kai Normann Andersen har komponeret, og hvor Teddy Petersen dirigerer. Så kunne det næppe gøres bedre i 1941. Handlingen i filmen er rimelig. Den er i hvert fald bedre end tilsvarende film fra samme periode fra den anden side af "dammen". Det er musikken, der løfter filmen op i de høje skylag. "Toner fra himlen" og selvfølgelig "Alle gaar rundt og forelsker sig".

I en lille sjællandsk landsby, hvor alt tilsyneladende er lutter idyl, lever syersken Bolette Jensen, en djærv kvinde, som har gjort sine bitre erfaringer og nu er frygtet for sin skarpe tunge. Bolette plejer at sige sin mening uden omsvøb, og da sandheden som bekendt er ilde hørt, er hun ikke synderlig afholdt af sognets magthavere, hvis mest fremtrædende skikkelse er sognerådsformanden Peter Enevoldsen. Bolette får en alvorlig opgave, da den unge kønne Sofie skal have barn, og Bolette tager sig straks af den ulykkelige pige og lover, at hun nok skal komme til at spadsere op ad kirkegulvet med sin Karl.

A really nice mood bomb from Danish films golden age in the comedy genre! Peter Malberg is the somewhat goofy - but very much in love author Peter Strøm. He has fallen for the publisher's daughter, Else Fischer (played by one of the 30s biggest divas, Gull-Maj Norin). The same has just happened to the bright journalist Fritz Faber, who also intends to fight for the young Else. Naturally, this creates the classic intricacy and it all happens on board the Great America-steamer.

Nina turns in a wanted criminal, Carl Weldon, to get the reward and save her ailing mother, who sadly expires before Nina has time to return. Visiting his father in jail, Weldon’s son Victor learns that his father is innocent of the murder for which he has been convicted. Victor rages at the anonymous informer but cannot prove his father’s innocence. A few years later, Nina and Victor accidentally meet, and love blossoms between them. But Nina is racked by guilt. In 1911 the German poet Hugo von Hofmansthal wrote a new version of the medieval morality play Everyman, and this was staged in Danish translation at the Royal Theatre in Copenhagen in 1915. At the time, it was radical example of symbolist abstraction. Its success inspired a film version, Enhver [Everyman], directed by Vilhelm Glückstadt for Filmfabrikken Danmark. The film, however, was set in a modern-day environment. It depict the moral choice confronting its protagonist at struggle because two attendant spirits, one good and one bad. The protagonist is tempted by dark figure of evil and succumbs, rejecting God and leading a life of iniquity, but he is then haunted by guilty visions until he finally dies, asking God for forgiveness at the last moment.

An old man from India dies in the presence of Dr. John Schmidt. Before he passes, he gives the doctor a small God figure – an Indian Idol other mysterious men are looking for.

The film is the second 1910 film adaptation of Heiberg’s classic about foundling children, superstitions and star-crossed lovers. Near Elves’ Hill (Elverhøjen) lives Karen, a superstitious farmer’s wife, with her daughter Agnete. Agnete and the noble Sir Ebbesen are very much in love, but to their great sorrow Ebbesen is betrothed to the noble-born Elisabeth Munk. But not everything is as it seems. For Karen is not Agnete’s real mother: she found the baby girl on Elves’ Hill the very same night that the infant Elisabeth Munk, goddaughter of King Christian IV, disappeared from her parents’ home.
