Já dentro da prisão, Martin se ocupa de produzir uma pequena peça teatral para os detentos e as suas famílias, e durante os ensaios conhece Thomas, o filho de um carcereiro da prisão. Os dois se apaixonam, mas trata-se de um amor impossível e sujeito à consequências.
